The 8.3’ (2.5m) Boom Arm Stand is a 5-section light stand with a built-in boom arm. The built-in joint allows the top two sections to be converted to a boom arm with a 5’ (1.5m) extension. Using all five sections vertically as a conventional light stand, it can extend to a height of 13’ (4m).

 

The arm’s 5/8” stud can accommodate a light fixture while its spring clips can hold your reflector disc in place.

 

Note: It is always good practice to use a counterweight when extending light fixtures out on a boom arm.
