The 6.5’ (2m) 2-Section Boom Arm w/Counterweight allows you to extend your light out over your subject. This lets you achieve an over-head lighting effect without light stands cluttering your background. 

 

The Boom Arm attaches to your light stand via its locking swivel. It has one telescopic section that includes a removable 5/8” stud that can be positioned straight, or at a 90° angle from the boom. The included 5.5lb (2.5kg) adjustable counterweight slides back and forth along the boom arm, giving you added balance and stability when using heavier lights and modifiers. This boom and counterweight is ideal for small to medium studio flashes with modifiers.
